Silicone Magic ADVANCED

A bit about me ...

My name is Carolyn Doughty and I’m a doll sculptor, and silicone doll artist, living in Preston in the UK.

And, while I don't claim to know it all, I HAVE helped many people like yourself achieve their dream of making their very own baby in silicone, from start to finish.  I help many on their silicone journey through my demo videos on YouTube, I have mentored a handful of artists on their journey to become professional silicone doll artists, and for a good few years I have helped beginner artists through the facebook group Making Silicone Babies.

Many of these artists are now professional doll artists, making a good living from their silicone doll businesses.

  • And yes, just a few years ago, twelve years ago to be exact, I was in your shoes.  Those early days were rough.
  • I bought all the wrong products.
  • I had no idea how to sculpt.
  • I spent hours researching products, went on courses, watched videos on the internet, bought DVDs, downloaded technical data sheets and safety sheets off the internet.

Very little of this really helped, and there was no way of knowing what was factual, what was merely opinion and what was frankly just nonsense.

I had never even seen or held a silicone baby and yet I KNEW I wanted to learn how to make these exquisite dolls.

I was throwing money away on the wrong products, using the wrong techniques, materials and equipment. But I kept going, month after month, and literally wasted a tens of thousands of pounds on the wrong products.  I very nearly gave up.

But the experience was invaluable.  I learned a LOT about the products, what to do, what not to do, and how to do it.  Through all that hard work and persistence, I become a master of my craft. I have been sculpting, moulding, pouring, painting and rooting my own dolls for 10 years now, and the waiting list for my dolls is long, I make finished dolls as well as producing blanks for customers to paint themselves.

And now I want to pass on all that knowledge to others, that utter joy when you pull your first silicone baby from the mould – made by you with your own hands, from a lump of clay.

Imagine holding a silicone baby doll in your arms, knowing that you have created her from start to finish.  It is your total artistic creation.

Imagine the looks of utter admiration on your friends and family’s faces when you tell them YOU created that.

If you can dare to imagine that – then I can help the magic to begin!  With our Silicone Magic MASTERCLASS.

I’ve had a TON of doll enthusiasts reaching out to me asking for my help.

So I had this crazy idea to build a step-by-step plan to guide you from a complete beginner with a crazy dream, to making your own silicone baby doll from start to finish.  No fluff. No messing around, just a simple plan to take you from a lump of clay, to your own finished silicone baby doll … and beyond.

Start here with Silicone Magic.  Learn to make your own silicone baby doll - start to finish, step by step - without wasting time and money on wrong products and bad advice.

Learn at your own pace, and in your own time.

Can you imagine how it will feel when you pull your very first silicone doll out of the mould and hold her in your arms?
Can you imagine how it will feel when you sell your first silicone baby?
Can you imagine the look of pure joy in your customer’s eyes.
